When investors ask for your financial model they usually look for three main components. Firstly, they’ll see if you’ve thought through your business model and understand your revenue sources, customer base, and financing. Secondly, investors will see if you understand key KPIs (measurable values that indicate progress towards an outcome or result) in your industry as well as your business drivers. Lastly, investors will look to see if you understand the expenses it will take to get to your goals and represent them reasonably.
